This Privacy Policy explains how FoxWay handles the limited personal information and advertising data
used to operate the Service across all platforms (iOS and Android Applications and Chrome Extension) and, most
importantly, how We uphold Our strict no-log promise for proxy traffic.
We do not monitor, log, or store the websites You visit, the content You access, or other browsing
activity that passes through Our proxy servers. Eligible free-plan users on our iOS and Android mobile apps may receive Google
AdMob advertisements as described below. Advertising is separated from proxy traffic: FoxWay does not
provide Google with Your browsing history, DNS requests, traffic content, or proxy activity.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
FoxWay directly requests only the limited information needed to manage Your account and communicate with
You. When advertising is enabled for an eligible free-plan mobile user, Google may also process the
advertising data described below. The specific data collected varies by platform:
Mobile Applications (iOS and Android)
- Email address: Required for account creation and authentication. Your email is
retained even after account deletion solely to prevent abuse of our free plan through repeated
registrations.
- Authentication information: When You use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple,
the provider supplies a signed authentication token and limited account identity information, such
as Your email address when available. FoxWay validates that token to authenticate Your account. We
do not receive or store Your Google or Apple account password.
- Payment information (iOS): All iOS payments are processed exclusively through the Apple App
Store. FoxWay does not have access to or store Your payment card details. Apple provides Us only
with subscription status and transaction identifiers necessary to activate Your service.
- Payment information (Android): Android subscription payments are processed through
Google Play. FoxWay does not have access to or store Your payment card details. Google Play provides
Us with subscription status and purchase identifiers necessary to verify and manage Your service.
- Support correspondence: Any troubleshooting details or questions You voluntarily
submit when contacting Our support team.
- Advertising and consent data: For eligible free-plan iOS and Android users, Google AdMob and
Google's User Messaging Platform may process IP address (which may be used to infer coarse location),
advertising and other device identifiers, advertising data, interactions with ads and the app, and
diagnostic, performance, or crash data. FoxWay does not send proxy browsing activity to
Google for advertising.
Chrome Extension
- Google Account Information: When You log in using Your Google account, We securely
access Your Google email and Your FoxWay User ID. We use the identity permission to securely invoke
launchWebAuthFlow, allowing You to select Your preferred Google account for login. No Google-related
tokens are stored locally; only Your Google email and unique FoxWay User ID are kept for reference.
- Subscription Status: We periodically retrieve Your subscription status from the
FoxWay API to automatically adjust proxy settings and ensure You have the appropriate level of
access.
- Payment Information: When You purchase a subscription, We use Stripe, a secure
third-party payment gateway, to process the transaction. FoxWay receives confirmation of Your
payment, including transaction details such as the payment method, transaction ID, and payment
status. This data is used only to verify Your purchase, activate Your subscription, and ensure
ongoing access to Our services. We do not store Your payment card details.
- Proxy Settings: We store settings related to Your personalized proxy configurations
to ensure smooth service access.
Usage Data
FoxWay operates a strict no-log network for proxy connections. When Your network
requests tunnel through Our proxy service, We do not collect, store, or share:
- Websites You visit or URLs You access
- DNS requests You make
- IP addresses assigned to You during proxy sessions
- Content of Your traffic while it traverses Our proxy servers
- Device identifiers or application logs tied to Your proxy sessions
We do not collect analytics about Your browsing activity. Our
infrastructure is designed to route Your traffic without creating any records that could be traced
back to You or Your online behavior.
What We do store: We store Your proxy configuration settings, specifically the list
of websites You have configured to route through Our proxy service. This is necessary for the
Service to function according to Your preferences and to determine which sites should use Our proxy.
Advertising and Privacy Choices (Mobile Free Plan)
FoxWay uses Google AdMob to help fund the free mobile plans on iOS and Android. Advertising is shown only when the advertising
feature is enabled and Your account is eligible for the free plan; paid and active gifted-premium users
are not intended to receive ads or advertising permission prompts.
- iOS tracking permission: On iOS, before FoxWay permits use of Apple's advertising
identifier for tracking, iOS asks for permission through App Tracking Transparency. If You decline,
FoxWay disables personalized advertising treatment and its publisher first-party identifier. You
may still receive limited or non-personalized ads where permitted.
- Android advertising controls: On Android, You can reset or delete the advertising
identifier through the Android settings made available on Your device. Google applies consent and
privacy signals when determining the appropriate ad-serving mode.
- Regional consent choices: On mobile platforms, where required, Google's User Messaging Platform asks
for advertising consent and provides choices to consent, decline, or manage options. Ad requests do
not begin until the applicable consent flow is complete and Google reports that ads may be requested.
- Your control: Your decision does not restrict Your use of FoxWay. You can change
Apple's tracking permission in iOS Settings, use the Android advertising-identifier controls
available on Your device, and, when required for Your region, reopen Privacy Choices
from FoxWay's Account settings.
- Data separation: FoxWay never supplies Google with the websites You visit, DNS
requests, proxy traffic content, proxy session history, or the list of sites in Your proxy rules.
Google processes advertising data under its own policies and may use it to provide, measure, secure, and
personalize ads depending on Your choices and applicable law. Learn more in the
Google Privacy Policy
and Google's explanation of
how it uses information from partner apps.
U.S. State Privacy Notice
For eligible free-plan iOS and Android users, FoxWay may disclose device identifiers, coarse location, advertising
data, interactions with ads and the app, and diagnostic or performance data to Google for advertising,
measurement, consent management, security, and fraud prevention. Depending on the state where You live,
personalized advertising disclosures may be defined as a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted
advertising even though FoxWay does not sell personal information for money.
Where applicable, You may opt out through Privacy Choices in FoxWay's Account settings. An
opt-out does not restrict Your use of FoxWay; it limits how Google may use advertising data and may
result in limited or non-personalized ads. You may also contact Us using the details below to exercise
rights available under Your state's privacy law. FoxWay will not discriminate against You for making a
privacy choice or exercising a legal right.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Company uses the limited Personal Data described above solely to:
- Authenticate Users: Verify and manage Your access to the Service's features across
all platforms.
- Provide and maintain the Service: Authenticate Your account and deliver
subscriptions without monitoring Your browsing activity.
- Process transactions: Through the Apple App Store (for iOS users), Google Play (for
Android users), or Stripe (for Chrome Extension users) to manage Your subscription status.
- Automate Proxy Settings: Adjust Your proxy access level based on Your subscription
status, ensuring You have uninterrupted access to restricted services as long as Your account
is active.
- Communicate with You: About Service updates, security notices, and support
responses.
- Prevent abuse: By maintaining a record of email addresses used to register for our
free plan, preventing repeated abuse through multiple account creation.
- Enhance User Experience: Retain user preferences and configurations to simplify
use.
- Provide and measure advertising: Show ads to eligible free-plan iOS and Android users, manage
consent, prevent advertising fraud, and measure ad performance according to Your choices.
FoxWay does not sell personal data for money or rent it, and We never monetize proxy browsing
activity. The free mobile plans on iOS and Android are supported by Google AdMob advertising. Some U.S. state laws
may define disclosures for personalized advertising as a “sale” or “sharing.” Any advertising data
disclosed to or processed by Google is limited to the purposes and choices described in the
Advertising and Tracking and U.S. State Privacy Notice sections above.
Data Retention
We retain user data only for as long as it is necessary to provide the Service's features and maintain
accurate records of Your subscription status. The Company retains Your Personal Data as follows:
- Account data: When You delete Your account, all associated account information is
immediately removed from Our systems, except for Your email address.
- Email addresses: Your email address is retained indefinitely after account deletion
solely to prevent abuse of our free plan through repeated registrations with the same email.
- Support correspondence: Retained only as long as necessary to resolve Your inquiry,
then deleted.
- Advertising data: Advertising and consent data handled by Google is retained under
Google's policies and Your consent choices. FoxWay does not add proxy browsing activity to that data.
- Chrome Extension data: If You deactivate or uninstall the FoxWay Chrome Extension,
Your data will be securely deleted, consistent with Our data retention policies.
We do not retain proxy connection logs, browsing history, or any usage metrics. There
are no logs to delete because none are created in the first place.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your account information (email address, subscription status, and proxy configuration settings) may be processed in various regions
where Our cloud infrastructure providers operate. Our primary infrastructure provider is Oracle Cloud,
though server locations may vary based on operational needs to ensure Service reliability and
performance.
For eligible free-plan iOS and Android users, Google may process advertising and consent data in regions where its
service providers operate, subject to Google's safeguards and applicable law.
Your proxy traffic may transit servers in multiple jurisdictions worldwide. Because FoxWay does not log
or store traffic content, connection metadata, or any browsing activity, these transfers do not create
stored datasets about Your online behavior regardless of which jurisdictions Your traffic passes
through.
User Rights and Data Control
You have rights regarding the data We collect, including:
- Access and Correction: You may request access to view the personal information We
store and correct any inaccuracies.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of Your personal information at any time.
- Restrictions: You may request restrictions on certain uses of Your data.
- Advertising choices: You may change Apple's tracking permission in iOS Settings,
use Android advertising-identifier controls available on Your device, and, where available, change
Google advertising consent through FoxWay's Privacy Choices entry.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact Us using the contact details provided below.
Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete Your account and associated Personal Data at any time.
You may delete Your account from within the Service or by contacting Us at the address listed below. Upon
account deletion:
- Immediately deleted: All account data, authentication credentials, subscription
information, and proxy configuration settings are permanently removed from Our systems.
- Retained: Your email address remains in Our system solely to prevent abuse of our
free plan through repeated registrations. This email record contains no other information about You
or Your account.
- Payment data (iOS): Managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. To delete
payment information, You must do so through Your Apple account settings.
- Payment data (Android): Managed by Google through Google Play. To manage or cancel
Your Google Play subscription or payment information, use Your Google Play account settings.
- Payment data (Chrome Extension): Managed by Stripe. To delete payment information,
You must contact Stripe directly or manage it through Your Stripe account if applicable.
Because We do not keep proxy usage logs, connection records, or browsing history, there is no usage data
associated with Your account for Us to delete or disclose.
Information Sharing
FoxWay does not sell Your data for money or rent it. We disclose data only in the limited circumstances
below. As explained in the U.S. State Privacy Notice, some laws may classify personalized-advertising
disclosures to Google as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, for which applicable users can
opt out.
- Apple Inc.: For iOS users, to provide Sign in with Apple, process payments through
the App Store, and verify subscription status.
- Google: For users who choose Google Sign-In, We securely communicate with Google to
verify Your identity. For Android users, Google Play processes subscription payments and provides
the limited purchase and subscription information needed to verify and manage access. For eligible
free-plan iOS and Android users, Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform process the advertising
and consent data described above to provide and measure ads, manage consent, and protect against
advertising fraud.
- Stripe: For Chrome Extension users, financial and payment information is processed
securely by Stripe, a trusted payment provider. We receive only limited transaction details
necessary to activate and manage Your subscription.
- FoxWay API: We use the FoxWay API to check and manage Your subscription status and
apply proxy settings based on Your current access level.
We take the security of Your data seriously and protect it by transmitting all personal or sensitive
information over secure HTTPS connections.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, only the limited Personal Data
described in this policy may be transferred. We will provide notice before personal information becomes
subject to a different Privacy Policy, and any successor must honor this Privacy Policy and the no-log
commitment before access is granted.
Law Enforcement and Legal Requests
FoxWay's ability to respond to legal requests is fundamentally limited by Our no-log
architecture.
During proxy connections, We do not collect or store:
- Browsing history or websites visited
- Connection logs
- IP addresses assigned during sessions
- DNS queries or traffic content
The only information We maintain is Your email address, subscription status, and Your proxy
configuration settings (the list of websites You have configured to route through Our proxy). Even
if legally
compelled, We cannot provide browsing data We do not possess. We cannot trace browsing activity back
to any
user because such data is never collected or stored in Our systems.
We do not respond to legal requests for user data. Even if compelled by law, the only data We possess is limited to email addresses, subscription status, and proxy configuration settings, none of which reveal Your browsing activity or online behavior.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but the best security is not collecting data
in the first place. Our no-log architecture means there is no browsing data to secure, breach, or
compromise.
For the limited data We do maintain (email addresses, subscription status, and proxy configuration settings), We apply
industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, access
controls, and secure infrastructure practices.
While no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, Our minimal
data collection approach significantly reduces Your exposure to privacy risks.
Future Security Audits
As a small company, We are currently focused on building and maintaining Our Service. We plan to pursue
independent security audits and certifications once We have acquired sufficient capital to support such
initiatives. This will provide third-party verification of Our no-log claims and security practices.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally
identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are
aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We
have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent,
We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires
consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.
Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third
party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the
Privacy Policy of every site You visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of
any third party sites or services.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page.
We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming
effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy
Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
